| Field notes | Terrestrial herb less than 0.4 m. Base and sheath red, 4-9 leaves per shoot. Sheath open (not a tight pseudostem). Inflorescence from sheath of middle leaves in the shoot. Flowers white, red in throat, staminode with red dot near base. Deposited at: BO, ANDA, AAU. Material also preserved in spirit. Photographed. |
