| Field notes | Terrestrial herb, 1-1.5 m, in loose clump. Bracts cream yellow to brown. Corolla pale orange, staminode white, labellum white with central red cloud of dots. Stamen pale orange. Fruit spiny, green. Vernacular name: tubu beritam bata (Lun Dayeh): fruit edible. Material also preserved in spirit. |
