| Field notes | Terrestrial herb, 4 m, rhizome moderately creeping: ca. 40–50 cm between shoots. Base red, sheaths red at base. Petiole to 9 cm; lamina to 90 by 22 cm, plicate to corrugated, fleshy, base auriculate. Peduncle 9–24 cm. Infructescence to 10 cm diam. Vernacular name: tubu layun sià (Kelabit): used as E. fimbriobracteata. Material in spirit. |
