| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 7 m. Rhizome long-creeping, scales red. Base to 10 cm diam. Sheath yellowish green. Lamina to 110 by 20 cm. Inflorescence 20 cm. Scales pale brown to cream, flowers red except for labellum with yellow center. Labellum bilobed, anther red, stigma pale pink. No smell. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR,,AAU.
