| Field notes | Additional collection to Poulsen 1992. Rhizomes 1,5 cm diam., with brown scales. Infructescence from rhizome. Peduncle 7–8 cm, scales distichous. Infructescence head subglobular, 5–5.5 cm by 7–8 cm, bracts almost decayed. Fruits 17 per head, purple 2 cm by 3.5 cm, sides ridged, top flat, velvety golden-brown. Material in spirit. |
