| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb to 1.6 m. Rhizome creeping. Sheath pale green, ±reticulate; ligule pale green with pale brown hairs; lamina plain green, below pubescent and pale. Inflorescence from base; peduncle 4-9 cm, peduncular bracts pale cream, bracts purple where exposed; corolla tube white; petals bright red; labellum with yellow centre; anther hinged, red; stigma red. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU. Material also preserved in spirit. Photographed. " |
