| Field notes | Terrestrial 1.5-2 m. Rhizome long-creeping. Base reddish with dark purple sheaths. Upper sheath green with longitudinal white lines. Lamina plain green - reddish brown when young - plicate. Inflorescence trailing along ground to 50 cm. Bracts pale orange-brown, calyx red, old flowers only. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU. |
