| Field notes | Terrestrial herb, prostrate. Rhizome short-creeping, producing a series of shoots each with one leaf. Sheath yellow-green, ligule pale brown, membranous, petiole canaliculate, lamina bullate in an uneven 'lumpy' way, slightly variegated, yellow-green and dark green. Flowers white with a yellow-green central patch 3 mm by 4 mm and two purple lines 1.5 mm at mouth of corolla tube. Vernacular name in Iban: malebab.
