| Field notes | Terrestrial herb 2.5 m, rhizome thin, long-creeping. Scales red. Base reddish. Sheath yellow-green with red dots. Petiole 2.5 cm, canaliculate, Lamina pubescent on both sides, base unequal. Fruits with persistent calyces. Vernacular name (in Iban language): tepus kenyalang. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU. Material also preserved in spirit. Photographed. |
