| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb 2.5 m, in clump. Base 7 cm diam, reddish. Sheath green; ligule green, 1.5 cm; lamina plain green, below pale: Inflorescence erect: peduncle 50 cm, inflorescence 20 cm. Scales reddish, bracts yellow-green. Flowers pale yellow. Vernacular name (in Iban language): Japa. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU. Material also preserved in spirit. Photographed. " |
