| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb 2-3 m, rhizome long-creeping. Base swollen to 5-6 cm across. Sheath green. Ligule 1.5-2 cm, green; lamina plain green, young leaf flushed pale pink, base attenuate. Inflorescence from rhizome, deep, less than 20 cm. Flowers red, labellum with white centre outside, central lobe deeply bilobed. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU. Material also preserved in spirit. " |
