| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb 1.5 m. In clump. Shoots sometimes flagellar, 2-3 m, producing new plantlets. Sheath brownish green. Ligule unevenly bilobed, brown, thin; petiole swollen, lamina plicate, plain green, filted below. Peduncle horizontal up to 20 cm. Inflorescence erect, 6-7 cm, red. Vernacular name (in Iban language): ligun kecil. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU, L. Material also preserved in spirit. Photographed. aff.!" |
