| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 1.7 m, in clump. Base red, sheath green. Young inflorescence with red bracts. Petals purple, labellum yellowish-orange with red lines in throat. Stamen and stigma yellow. Stamen with three horns at crest. Pollinated by bee. Infructescence at base, old with brown bracts. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU. Material also preserved in spirit. Photographed. |
