| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 3 m, in cluster, stilt-rooted. Base 3.5 cm. Sheath cane-like, green. Leaves 22-30 per shoot, dark green. Inflorescence 18 cm, bracts pale green with red margin, flowers red, anther yellow. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU. Material also preserved in spirit. |
