| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 1.2 m. Rhizome short-creeping. Base maroon-rusty brown. Sheath brownish green. Lamina plain green pale below. Rachis reddish, bracts rusty brown, dead but persistant. Flowers pale yellow. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU. Material also preserved in spirit. Photographed. [=1899] |
