| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 1.2 m, sheath cane-like. Leaves dark green. Inflorescence at base, buds yellowish green, flowers pale orange. Fruits green, spiny, rambutan-like. Vernacular name (Lun Bawan): tubu beritam . Informed by Labo Balang Gukang, 8 Nov 2002 before drying the specimen. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU, L. Material also preserved in spirit. |
