| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb 8-10 m, rhizome long-creeping. Bracts pale reddish-brown to red at tip; bracteole and petals pink; labellum yellow with red apex and margin, tip bifid. Vernacular name in Kelabit: tubu buen (buen means smell). Planted, introduced for the first time from Kobaan at around 1962. Informant: Maran Guna. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU." |
