| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb to 2 m. Rhizome long-creeping, scales pale brown. Base pale brown, swollen 3 cm. Margin of sheath plicate, pubescent; ligule densely pubescent; petiole up to 5 cm, robust; lamina deeply plicate, pubescent below. One fruit only, pale green. No name or use. Maran says it has white flowers. aff. Deposited at: Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, SAR, AAU." |
