| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb 2-3 m. Rhizome long-creeping. Sheath red particularly near the base. Base of lamina petiolate, unequal. Inflorescence from underground rhizome. Flowers orange, calyx orange, petals orange with dark red tips. Labellum with narrow yellow margin; anther pale red, stigma red. About 26 flowers per inflorescence. Deposited at: SAN, KEP, Sabah Parks, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, AAU." |
