Field notes Terrestrial herb. 4 m, stilt-rooted up to 0.5 m. Sheath yellowish green at base, plain green elsewhere. Inflorescence erect or ascending from base, scales (peduncular bracts) green, bracts brown, slimy. Flowers white, labellum bifid with central yellowbordered by two red stripes. Vernacular name in Lundayeh: Tubu perigo. Informant: Padan Sudai. Deposited at: SAN, KEP, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, AAU.
