| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb, 3 m, in dense clump. Base red, sheath yellow green with reddish-brown patches particularly along edges of sheath. Lamina plain green. Inflorescence from base, ca. 20 cm. Bracts yellow green, old drying brown; flowers white, labellum with yellow centre. Vernacular name in Lundayeh: Baku (common for all: so informant does not know). Deposited at: SAN, KEP, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, AAU." |
