| Field notes | Terrestrial herb 5-8 m, dominant in gap. Rhizome long-creeping, deep in the soil. Base of leafy shoot 5 cm diam, stem diam up to 2.5 cm, vegetative parts all glabrous. Flowers red, margin of lateral lobes pale red to orange central lobe sometimes bifid. Specimen at: SAN, KEP, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, AAU. |
