| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 2.5 m. Rhizome long-creeping. Base swollen to 2.5 cm. Leaves gradually bigger c. 20 per shoot. Shetah olive-green, glabrous. Lamina plain green, yellow-green below. Bracts brownish, flowers red. Yellow line between lateral lobes stopping 1.5 cm from tip of central lobe. Material in spirit. Specimen at: SAN, KEP, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, AAU. |
