| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 2 m. Shoot with 8-12 leaves. Rhizome short-creeping. Sheath reddish, petiole long, canaliculate, base cordate. Lamina plain green, midrib pale green, yellow-green below, ± pubescent. Inflorescence at base, peduncle 1-2 cm, bracts white to yellow-green-brownish. Calyx white to yellow at tips.
