| Field notes | "Terrestrial herb with short-creeping rhizome. Tubers 2-3 cm by 5 mm, 7 cm distally along the root. Lamina dark green; pale below- Sheath sometimes purple. Labellum white with yellow central band (rarely two bands) and two purple patches at the base, Base of staminodes also purple. Material in alcohol."sp.nov.
