Field notes Terrestrial herb to 2 m. 5 shoots in dense cluster, 5-7 leaves per shoot, sheaths reticulate, leaves dark green, yellow-green below with soft hairs, inflorescence appearing from stem 25-65 cm above the base, branched 2-3, branches erect, flowers pale pink to pale orange inside throat, dorsal lobes of labellum with darker red lateral stripes, central lobe bilobed. Material in spirit .(=1563) Specimen at: SAN, KEP, Sabah Parks, AAU.
