| Field notes | Slender, solitary tree; trunc 10 m high, straight and unarmed; dbh 5 cm; crown with 6 expanded leaves and one emerging: crownshaft 50 cm long, pale green; petiole 15 - 20 cm long, green with reddish-brown scales, adaxial side flat and abaxial side round; rachis 80 cm long, green, adaxial side channeled, abaxial side round; leaves pinnate, reduplicate, 25 - 30 pinnae on each side of rachis, regularly arranged, ca. 3 cm apart, central pinnae ca. 30 cm long; inflorescence interfoliar, branched to 3rd order, 10 - 15 1st order branches, 10 cm long, total length of inflorescence 50 - 60 cm |
