| Field notes | Voucher for ecological study. Large solitary rattan climbing to 40 m. Diameter without sheaths 3.5 cm, with sheaths ca. 9 cm. Internodes 10 to 15 cm long. Leaves (incl. petiole ca. 60 cm long) ca. 1.5 m long with ca 50 regularly arranged leaflets on each side of rachis. Inflorescence ca 9 m long with 5 to 6 partial inflorescences. Flowers with strong flowerlike, sweet scent. Flowers fixed in Navashin. |
